THE ARTIST

My name is Yvonne and I have lived in Tehachapi since 1996. I am a mother of four, full time Registered Dental Assistant, and business owner.
Crafting (particularly painting) has been a longtime rewarding hobby of mine, it is my therapy.
I first discovered ceramics in junior high and soon became favorite art class. Many years passed before rediscovering the passion I once had when visiting a PYOP studio in Mammoth. I knew immediately I MUST open a similar studio of my own. With much support, I was able to follow this dream and Mud Hut was born in 2007. In 2012 Mud Hut storefront closed and we decided to go strictly mobile. The direction of the business has once again changed with the opening of another brick and mortar studio operating with part time hours and the addition of the website 24/7.
Limited studio hours, unlimited creativity.
I am very honored to be part of so many special memories created through Mud Hut and hope to continue making new memories with Mud Hut 2 Go.
